Creating a successful vacation rental is about more than furnishing a home, it’s about creating an experience guests remember. For this cactus-inspired VRBO project, our goal was to blend modern comfort with playful Southwest character, giving visitors a space that feels unmistakably Arizona from the moment they arrive.
Throughout the home, warm desert-inspired colors, bold accent walls, custom artwork, and thoughtfully layered textures create a cohesive design that feels both inviting and memorable. Every room was intentionally designed to photograph beautifully while providing the comfort and functionality today’s travelers expect.
The living spaces encourage guests to relax and gather after a day of exploring Scottsdale, while the thoughtfully designed bedrooms offer boutique hotel-inspired comfort with unique personality in every room. A dedicated game room and entertainment areas provide additional experiences that make the property stand out from competing vacation rentals and encourage longer stays.
Outside, the inviting pool and resort-style lounge areas extend the living space, creating the perfect setting for relaxing under the Arizona sun. Every design decision, from the furnishings to the décor, was selected to maximize guest enjoyment while standing up to the demands of a high-performing short-term rental.
